▲Khadi fabric被稱為印度的 “Fabric of Freedom”，甘地為了擺脫原被英國控制的印度布料市場，號召印度人脫下他們身上的外國產衣服轉而穿khadi(印度傳統手織布)的方式支持獨立運動。人民開始自己紡織、編織、穿著在地、自身製作的衣物，也因此漸漸獨立！Khadi在印度因此不只是一種布料，也代表一種獨立運動的精神。Khadi的特點為手紡和手工編織，舒適的質地，看起來精緻和細膩，且耐用並持久，此外Khadi fabric可以做到500支紗，這樣的高支紗是機器無法製作出來的，柔軟透氣的觸感堪稱比擬絹絲！
