Mordovian 1951 Soviet small chess set vintage – 73 years old chess gift USSR

This type of chess set had been manufacturing from the late 1940s to the mid-1950s in the Mordovian ASSR (Mordovian Autonomous Socialist Republic – now called Republic of Mordovia, located southeast of the Moscow region), in Temnikovsky correctional labor camps (Temlag) in the village of Yavas and the surrounding settlements. Board 30x30 cm. King 7 cm. Pawn 3.5 cm. (1 inch = 2.54 cm) Weigh: 600 g. Damages: chipped collar of the red pawn.
