This bracelet is made of endless knots connected with old Tibetan turquoise, Mizoram carnelian, Tuareg beads, Venetian antique beads, etc. The endless knot is a motif in Tibetan Buddhism that represents eternal connection. The metal is worn and has a cool antique look. It's not that old, but it does have a bit of a worn look. It has a very nice atmosphere. It is very elaborately made and has fretwork. This is a dead stock item. Arrived from Tibet! (Size of the endless knot: 1.1cm width, 0.9cm height) Old Tibetan turquoise is about 100 to 200 years old. (It may be even older.) It was given to me by someone who went to Tibet and bought it. Turquoise is also known as the Fallen Stone. It has been used as a talisman and sacred Stone in various countries since ancient times. In Tibet it is sometimes used as medicine and is one of the Stone that has been passed down and worn for thousands of years. This is natural turquoise with no coating. The mellow mint green is adorable! (Turquoise size: width 0.8cm, height 0.7cm, thickness 0.6cm) The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian. They are heirlooms from the eastern Indian state of Mizoram, dating back to the 18th century. It has a variety of colors and is very expressive! These polyhedral beads with triangular and square patterns are beads of the Tuareg people, a nomadic people of the Sahara Desert in Africa. The red beads are antique Venetian beads called White Hearts (19th-20th century). They are so named because their cores are white. The deep white hearts give it a color that could be called blood red. The white hearts seem to have been used, as each and every one has been worn down nicely, giving them a very cool look! These are turquoise green striped chevron beads. Chevron beads mean "chevron-shaped" in English (or rosetta in Italian). They are expensive and significant beads, also known as the nobility of beads. This is one of the smaller chevron beads. Turquoise blue chevron beads like these are rare and hard to come by!! The white beads are antique beads from Venice (19th-20th century). These beads were made in Venice and brought to Myanmar. They have a very antique look and feel! The dull gold beads and the small anchor-like charm next to the slightly larger gold-red-white hearts are old Odissa brass. These are old brass beads from Odisha, India. These are very rare metal beads. The round charm near the clasp is also old brass from India. The Silver beads, shaped like a vase with endless decorations, are very rare old Chin Silver. They are heirlooms from the 18th to 19th centuries. These came from Burma. They were used by Chin women for necklaces, and have a unique worn look and lovely scratches. The weight and presence of these antique beads cannot be compared to modern Silver(although there are some cool modern pieces as well...), and their prices have been rising in recent years. The clasp is made of Karen Silver. Each Karen Silver bead is engraved!
