Double Strand Necklace with Aurora Czech Beads, Karen Silver, Gooseberry, and French/Italian Vintage Beads

This is a double strand necklace featuring Aurora Czech beads, Karen silver, gooseberry beads, and French and Italian vintage beads. The faceted beads are vintage Czech glass beads. They possess a subtle, aurora-like shimmer on their surface, catching the light on all facets. While modern beads often have a more pronounced, dazzling aurora effect, vintage ones exhibit a much softer glow, sometimes appearing almost clear at first glance. These beads are in relatively good condition, though some minor scratches are present. (Size of larger aurora beads: approx. 0.8cm height x 0.8cm width) The striped beads are known as "gooseberry" beads, originating from antique Venetian beads (19th-20th century). They are named for their resemblance to the fruit of the currant bush. We've used beads with a slightly sepia tone. The small opal glass and clear beads are vintage French and Italian glass beads. You can enjoy the warm, unique character that only vintage pieces offer. The clasp and the two types of pouch-like beads, stamped with floral motifs, are made of Karen silver. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in Thailand and Burma. Each piece is handmade, and it is said to have a very high purity. The floral-shaped beads are also silver. This necklace has a gentle ambiance, allowing you to appreciate the diverse expressions of various glass beads.
