We, ICELOLLY, are a married couple of illustrators working out of a studio we converted from our garage in Kyoto.
We created pop art prints to help you feel closer to the beauty of nature.
Each piece is printed using unique Risograph printing and is made on 100% recycled paper.
Risograph printing is a digital stencil printing method in which ink is pushed onto paper through a plate with tiny holes. For multi-color printing, a plate is made for each color, and each color is printed one by one, resulting in an analog-like finish. Color mixing and plate misalignment create a diversity of expression, and the use of semi-water-based inks allows for a unique texture.
It is printed on paper called "PELP!"
"PELP!" is 100% recycled paper that has been upcycled from discarded copy paper in offices. The grain of the original paper is what creates the pattern.
