台灣導演楊德昌的作品《一一》有這樣一句對白：電影發明以後，人類的生命比起以前至少延長了三倍。
電影發明以前，我們對死亡的體驗和理解可能只能通過葬禮和自身生命走到盡頭的一天。電影發明以後，我們的生命不單延長了至少三倍，我們對死亡的體驗和觀察亦延長了不知多少倍。
《七孔流血還七孔流血死還死》是香港視覺藝術家Rex Koo 以港產片為主題的第三本繪本。書本分⎡死⎦和⎡流血⎦兩部份，收錄了八九十年代港產片中的死亡情境和濺血畫面。通過作者的畫作，除了花樣百出的死亡方式外，讀者亦能再次感受到那個年代港產片的創意和活力。

關於Rex Koo
Rex Koo（顧沛然），香港土生土長視覺藝術家, 自小熱愛流行文化，風格深受普普藝術及八九十年代流行文化影響。千禧年開始從事平面設計及插畫工作，2013年開始以獨立創作人身份進行創作。曾以港產片為主題先後出版過三本繪本《Only You can take取西經》、《當年相戀意中人》及《七孔流血還七孔流血死還死》。
2018年開始於工餘時間進行漫畫創作。颱風山竹後開始構思以香港為舞台的幻想故事，前後大約花了一年時間完成《城寨誌異》第一集。
About Rex Koo
Rex Koo, a Hong Kong born visual artist, is enthusiastic about pop culture, particularly Hong Kong movies. He has been devoting himself to graphic design and illustration works since the Millennium. In 2013, starting his career as an independent designer。Rex have released three publication themed on Hong Kong movie so far, including《Only You can take me to get scriptures in the west》,《Once upon a time — memory of Hong Kong cinema》and《Bleeding and Death are two different things》.
Rex began to create comics in his spare time since 2018. After the attack from Typhoon Mangkhut, he began to conceive a fantasy story which using Hong Kong as a stage. It took about a year to complete the first episode of《Strange Tales of Walled City》.
