We reuse pottery that is cracked, chipped, or no longer in use, and after applying kintsugi, we transform them into accessories. Our concept is to create modern accessories that connect to the future, allowing people to feel close to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, by giving new life and possibilities to these materials. We've paired elegant pottery fragments, subtly showing a pink floral pattern, with pale pink freshwater pearls. They dangle gracefully with every movement, exuding a refined charm. The sides of the pottery fragments are adorned with kintsugi, so the gold accent shines even from the side, adding a touch of sophistication. In such cases, please note that there may be individual differences in color, pattern, and size of the pottery fragments and natural stones compared to the photos. *"Kintsugi" is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that mends cracked or chipped pottery and porcelain using lacquer and gold powder. This work uses a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional urushi lacquer made from the sap of lacquer trees, this method uses adhesive for the bonding.
