《初春》
這是春天的小花朵，
你決定用初春來睡個香甜的懶覺，
我不想睡，因為我看到春天的小花朵，
怎麼辦？這下子要獨自看小花了，
萬一太陽下山時，我玩累了，你睡飽了，
就背著睡著的我回家去咯！
但我好像不會玩累，到時候只好扮睡...
《Early Spring》
These are the little blossoms of spring.
You’ve decided to spend early spring in a sweet, lazy slumber.
But I don’t want to sleep—because I’ve seen the spring flowers.
So what now? I’ll have to admire them all on my own.
And if, by sunset, I’ve played myself tired and you’ve slept your fill,
You’ll carry me—fast asleep—back home.
But I don’t think I’ll get tired from playing...
So I guess I’ll just pretend to be asleep.
