＜What motivated you to make this work?>
We wanted you to pick up a hand embroidery bag more easily, to use it more casually, so we created this tote bag that printed the embroidery work. For you to use frequently, designed simple tote bag, on the otherhand, the motif is designed with a little impactful.
Meanwhile, we thought it would be interesting to embroidered Hokusai’s Ukiyo-e of 36 views of Mt. Fuji, which I often see in Taiwan and is famous all over the world.
The Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji are impactful motifs, in addition, anyone regardless generation or age can be used.
It was a lot of fun to express the wave swelling and the splashing with using many colors of threads and embroidery techniques. On the other hand, since the ukiyo-e prints are flat, struggled to give them a three-dimensional effect with embroidery. I would be happy if you could enjoy it if you take it in your hand and look closely nearby.
