Beautiful set consisting of the necklace - the convertible brooch that can be worn as a pendant on the chain and the pair of clip-on earrings. Unique pieces of vintage costume jewelry from “Woodland Fantasies” collection. Late 1949s - early 1950s Vintage Jewelry. These beautiful pieces were created for Trifari by chief-designer Alfred Philippe. Meticulously crafted milk glass petals- the technique also known as “poured glass”. Trifari produced various milk glass jewelry from late 1940s till mid-1950s as this type of jewelry was very popular. Signed: “Trifari” (brooch) and “Trifari Des Pat Pend” (chain clasp) Size: necklace chain apr. 41 cm, brooch / pendant apr. 5 cm, earrings apr. 3 cm. Total Weight: 45 g This fascinating convertible brooch / necklace and clip-on earrings were created by Alfred Philippe for Trifari in late 1940’s. The brooch was a central piece of Trifari advertisement for 1949 Easter campaign. The advertisement says: “Woodland Fantasies. Gay, jeweled pins typifying the Trifari touch of exquisite work-manship, superb design. Picture the charm of three or more accenting your neckline, gracing your lapel, or punctuating your scarf or belt. Perfect Easter magic for gift-giving. too.
