Classic vintage 1950s Soviet chess set - wooden old Russian chess set USSR

This is one of the most popular classic Soviet chess sets, which was apparently produced at the Pershukhovskaya factory of cultural goods (Moscow region). This same factory at one time apparently was a continuation of the artel activity of the “Krasnij Kombinat” (Red Combine) artel. In last times of the USSR this model of chess was eventually produced with more and more simplified elements of chess pieces. In particular, the finials of the kings and queens had been producing of plastic since the 1970s, as well as the tops of the black knights. Board is 40×40 cm. King is 10 cm. Pawn is 5.5 cm.
