TEXAS is an oiled nubuck leather produced by Tempesti, a long-established tannery located in Santa Croce, the birthplace of Italian vegetable tanning.
This leather is characterized by its velvety soft and moist texture, achieved by buffing the surface of oil-treated vacchetta leather, which is finished with approximately twice the usual amount of oil over a long period, creating natural color variations from the dyes.
Its aging process (aging) is remarkable; as it's used, the raised surface becomes smoother, revealing a deep hue and a transparent, lustrous finish.
It's the ideal leather for enjoying the authentic aging process that leather offers.
