・Characteristics of majolica
The main component of pottery is clay (soil), which has a very warm and soft texture.
I use Italian soil (unglazed). The combustion temperature is around 1000 degrees, and it is baked in vivid colors.
・Because each piece is individually painted, there are individual differences in the shade of color and the touch of the brush.
・There are pinholes (small holes), places where the glaze is thin, twists, and color fading.
